Travel insurance for stolen phone

So I had my phone stolen in Belgium. Police station was closed at midi and I had to back next day. I need a police report for my travel insurance. How can I report online? No English available and asks for Belgium residents number? Called UK police bur they can’t help?

They'll have normal numbers too.

It won’t take the postcode on the website and I can’t find a Belgium me to let it accept the form

Perhaps look for a Belgian solicitor who will let you use their phone number.

Tried to call even with area code for Belgium just beeps so I know I’m sorry I can’t call them?

You can also report the crime online at https://www.politie.be/police-on-web/nl/neerleggen-van-een-klacht but you'll need to use Google Translate or equivalent
