Amazon seller sole trader business insurance requirement

Amazon have recently introduced a requirement for sellers to have indemnity insurance. I had this with Direct Line which annoyingly lapsed recently when they didnt contact me to renew in time. They now however no longer can cover me (as graphic desgner / amazon seller).
Amazon state that IF a customer did create and A to Z claim citing damage or injury resulting from my products (unlikely with a personalised keyring or and ID card, which is mainly what I sell) that theyll cover the samages amount. But require sellers to have the insurance in place otherwise I am liable. So worth getting for peace of mind, and its legally required of course.
Any Amazon sellers here can recommend a decent low cost indemnity insurance provider that WILL cover amazon sellers?
Second question; I employ my girlfriend. I know if employing family you are exempt from requirement of employee liability, but do I actually need this in my case? For various reasons I am 100% confident she would never make a claim against me as her employer. I dont need to get into the reasons why I am confident of that but suffice to say it wouldnt happen.

Just contact a broker to get a quote for public and product liability insurance, the later is built into the former in the SME world. We used to buy ours from Hiscox but our products contained materials like glass which potentially heightens the risk if it were damaged in transit and so went for quality cover rather than as cheap as possible.
Whilst you mention EL the other concern is that you have to have a work place pension in place for her and do auto enrolment if she is your employee (rather than co-director of a LTD). You have to have one in place even if she doesn't want to enrol in it.0
