Sharpening blade for Ryobi Garden Shredder - RSH2455

Anyone has any idea how to sharpen the blade for this? If anyone can point me to a link to download the user manual that will be great.

Google Ryobi RSH2455 as that looks similar to me and Google Lens... but read the rating plate/label to confirm the model number.

Manual and exploded parts diagrams are available.

It is RSH2455, but nothing obvious in the user manuals I found, and not obvious by looking at the machine

Both sites suggest many parts are no longer available.

What is the problem that makes you think the blade needs sharpening?

Especially as there is no "blade".  It is not a shredder, it is a mangler.

when i tried to shred even dry branches the output is joined up and not separated pieces you expect. if branch is fresh not dry worst than that.

Does it have any adjustment? Can the 'rollers', or whatever they are, be brought closer?

But noting the warnings on page 12 -

"Note: Adjusting the shaving plate should only be attempted when deemed totally necessary. Adjusting the shaving plate too often or too far could cause your shredder to cease working completely."

and

"Ensure the shredder is turned on and working in normal forward direction. Adjusting the shaving plate while the motor is turned off could lead to serious damage of your shredder"  (my bolding)

....having a less than perfect shred is better than having to buy a new shredder.

Thanks for the helps and inputs now that i know the mechanism, I think I can try out some options. let me check those and report back here soon. thanks again everyone
