Hi folks.....sorry for slow reply. Managed to have my neighbour take me up to a local garage (5 mins in the car). Car initially failed the MOT due to some transmission/driveshaft issue but that was sorted for under £100. MOT passed and nice person drove me and car back.
Service done by Arnold Clark in a few weeks collect and return (no cast as included in the car purchase).
So all worked out in the end. Anyway, thanks all for the replies as did help a good bit.5 -
