If the buyer has agreed to clear the garden rubbish in exchange for a price reduction, it’s best to update the TA6 form through your solicitor to reflect this change. The TA6 is a legally binding document, and leaving it as-is could lead to disputes later. While the agreement via the estate agent may seem sufficient, it’s not legally enforceable, especially with a BTL mortgage involved.
