Just to confirm I got the letter on the 25th of July, does that mean I have until the end of day tomorrow?

When you received the letter is irrelevant

The date shown on the letter is the relevant date, that letter contained your Popla code

POPLA codes last for 33 days, but don't leave it until the last minute, so I recommend around day 30

It was delivered on the 25th too. The letter states I need to appeal within 28 days?

Its 28 days plus 5 days to allow for postal appeals, so the deadline is simple maths, 33 days , regardless

The parking company has no Idea if you are going to post the appeal to Popla, or do it online, neither do Popla

We don't mislead people, neither do the Popla procedures, some people prefer old fashioned snail mail, it's a right to use the postal service and not be penalised

No problem, thank you for clarifying. As I suspected the parking company have no idea.

POPLA set the 33 days deadline up when the Popla code is issued, for everyone, regardless of the submission method, that way it applies to everyone, even if they use the extra time to their advantage.  There is usually little to be gained in stretching it out

The NTK (the reminder) is not PoFA compliant because it fails para 8 (2) (e) (ii) because it fails to invite the keeper to pass the notice to the driver. Note the use of the word "must" in para 8 (2) of the PoFA.

In the NTK I can see they state "If you were not the driver of the vehicle, you should notify us (in writing using the form attached) of the name of the driver and current address for service for the driver and pass this notice on to the driver".

Would this not meet PoFA or am I not understanding the paragraph properly?

Here is what I have for now: https://drive.proton.me/urls/29C5E3SRZ8#p6Ofzp83Vv0N

I have removed sections "2) There are no entrance signs for the regular entry and signs in this loading area are not prominent, clear or legible. Furthermore, there is no marked loading bay at the location nor boundary of the venue." and "5) Vehicle Images contained in PCN: BPA Code of Practice – non-compliance (they have added a timestamp after)".

The former I did not feel applied in this situation, please let me know if I am wrong. The latter I was wrong about and the timestamps were added at the time, not after.

Could anyone have a read over it before I submit it?

    That does sound POFA compliant.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'll remove that from the appeal and submit then. Thank you.
