These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

The personal data provided by entrants will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at www.heineken.co.uk/legal-hub/heineken-brands-privacy-policy and www.secretescapes.com/privacy-policy). From time to time, the Promoter may share entrants’ personal data with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion and contacting entrants (as necessary) and/or fulfilling the prize(s).

1. The Promoter is Heineken UK Limited, 3-4 Broadway Park, South Gyle Broadway, EDINBURGH, EH12 9JZ and Secret Escapes Limited, (registered number 07026107) 120 Holborn, London, EC1N 2TD (“Secret Escapes”) (together the “Promoter”). Secret Escapes will appoint their agency Element London Limited (“Prize Agency”) to liaise with competition winner(s) on their behalf, in order to arrange fulfilment and organisation of the prize trip. 2. Only open to residents in Great Britain aged 18+, excluding employees and immediate families of any company in the Heineken group or the Secret Escapes group, its agents, associates or any person with professional involvement or association with this promotion.
3. No purchase necessary to enter. To enter, go to https://mp.secretescapes.com/uk/2024/secret-italian-coast/competition/ and enter your name, email address, answer if you are a UK resident and over the age of 18, and tick the box to confirm your acceptance to the promotion terms and conditions (one “Entry”, together the “Entries”). Standard network rates apply. Maximum of one Entry per person, during the Promotion Period (defined at clause 5 below).
4. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated Entries are invalid. Multiple Entries in excess of the limit set out in condition 3 will be invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, incomplete, illegible or delayed Entries, such Entries will be void. Proof of Entry is not proof of receipt and the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for the non receipt or the late receipt of any entries due to network or website failure or for any associated costs to entrants. No Entries submitted via any other means will be accepted. The Promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the web entry route. Any mechanical reproduction or automated entries is prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification.
5. Entries must be made between 09:00 on 5th June 2024 and 23:59 on 31 October 2024 (“the Promotion Period”).

   £500 Secret Escapes Voucher

   • Three (3) prizes of a Secret Escapes voucher worth £500. One prize per winner. 7. All valid Entries will be entered into a prize draw. The winner of the Trip to Italy will be the first valid entry drawn at random, by an independent adjudicator on 7 November 2024. The winners of the £500 Secret Escapes Vouchers will be the next three (3) valid Entries drawn at random, by an independent adjudicator on 7 November 2024. The winners will be announced on or before 21 November 2024. The winners will be notified via email, to the email address supplied at the time of entry. No entrant may win more than one prize. The prizes are not negotiable or transferable. The prizes must not be sold nor advertised for sale whether on the internet, in newspapers or elsewhere. There is no cash or other alternative to these prizes in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the relevant prize if it is transferred. In the event that the prizes offered are unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
8. Participants agree to be contacted by the Promoter and Secret Escapes’ Prize Agency for the purposes of administering the prize draw. The winner will be contacted via email by Secret Escapes to the winner’s email address to notify them that they have won the Prize. The winner’s contact details will then be passed to the Prize Agency, who will get in touch to arrange the Prize accordingly. Each winner will have seven days, starting on the day that the email is sent to them, to confirm by email to the Prize Agency that they accept the prize. Each winner will require to be registered with an account on the Secret Escapes website in order to take up the relevant prize.
9. If the Promoter does not receive a response within seven days, starting on the day that Secret Escapes emails the winner , a winner rejects the relevant prize or is disqualified, then the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner at random from all remaining valid Entries and make contact with the re-drawn winner(s) as described in condition 8 (and so on until winners can be contacted that will take up the prizes).
10. Winners’ details (1st name and counties only) will be available for 3 months from 31 October 2024 for consultation at https://mp.secretescapes.com/uk/2024/secret-italian-coast/. By entering, the winner consents to such information being disclosed upon request. If the winner does not wish such details to be published, they must advise the Promoter at the time of being notified that they have won. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

11. For the winner of the Trip to Italy, the following conditions apply:

    1. All holiday locations and dates are subject to availability and any government guidelines or restrictions in place at the destination as well as the booking terms and conditions of Secret Escapes which can be viewed at http://www.secretescapes.com/terms-and-conditions. Travel will be subject to flight and hotel availability at the date of booking the trip. The Winner will be contacted by the Prize Agency in order tonarrange the booking with the Hotel. No responsibility can be accepted if a winner fails to redeem the stay (entirely or partially) prior to the expiry date stated at condition 6 above. The booking is subject to the relevant hotel’s booking terms and conditions including terms on cancellations or amendments. Travel is not included in the prize and is at the cost of the winner. The Prize does not include travel insurance or any additional expenses that are not expressly included as asset out in condition 6. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
    2. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for hotels / tours / transport companies etc. being withdrawn or amended.
    3. All hotel arrangements offered are at the discretion of Secret Escapes.
    4. Passports and Visas, and comprehensive travel insurance are the responsibility and cost of the prize winner. The Promoter cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation.
    5. The prize winner and their party (where applicable) are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize winner and their party (where applicable).
12. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct audits on all entries and winners to refuse a prize or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable ground to believe that there has been a violation of these terms or any instruction regarding the requirements for participation in the promotion or in the event that a participant would have had an unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or would have won by fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter for all decision, which are final and binding.

13. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

    The Promoter cannot guarantee that the trips will be free from disruptions, failings or cancellations. We are not liable for such disruptions, failings or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence. 14. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.
15. All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prize are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law and the Promoter shall be under no liability whatsoever or however in connection with any loss, damage or injury suffered as a direct result of the provision of the trips. Promoter makes no attempt to exclude or limit its liability for death or personal injury arising as a result of its negligence.
16. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize & the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
17. These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
