UEFA EURO 2024™ PRIZE DRAW 1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw.

Opening/closing date & time:

 

•    Prize Draw in relation to the UEFA EURO 2024™ programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via SMS and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 14 June 2024.
•    Prize Draw closes for entries via SMS and online at 10.00am on Thursday 27 June 2024. 
•    Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Monday 1 July 2024.

 

Winner selection & contact:

 

•    The draw will take place within twenty-four (24) hours of the closing date and time for all entries.
•    Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize. 
•    The prize is time critical and the winner will be contacted in accordance with Clause 5.2 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms (linked below).  All entrants must be contactable after 4.00pm on Monday 1 July 2024 and for 3 working days after.

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

 

•    SMS text – you will have the choice between the two (2) following options:

 

1.    Standard entry: send a SMS text with the keyword GOAL or WINNER to 80900. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you one (1) entry into the Prize Draw (“Standard Entry”). Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers.

 

2.    Bundle entry: send a SMS text with the keyword FIVE or OFFER (or the following variations F1VE, FIVER, FAVE, FVE, £5, 5) to 80900. The chargeable SMS text entry costs £5.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you five (5) entries (“Bundle Entry”). This will replace the Standard Entry and will only be available on your first entry within the Prize Draw period. Following the Bundle Entry, for each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a ‘buy one entry get one entry free’ offer.

 

If you choose the Standard Entry as described in paragraph 1 above, you may make up to fifteen (15) Standard Entries in total per phone number. If you choose the Bundle Entry, as described in paragraph 2 above, you may make up to thirteen (13) entries in total (including one (1) Bundle Entry and up to twelve (12) additional Standard Entries) per phone number.

 

Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable). If you do not want to receive marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your text entry.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into the Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. Prize:

There is one (1) prize of £50,000 and four (4) tickets to the 2024 UEFA EURO 2024™ final.

 

(i) £50,000

This element of the prize consists of £50,000 (fifty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

 

(ii) Tickets to the UEFA EURO 2024 TM final (the “Euros Package”)

This element of the prize consists of four (4) tickets for the winner and up to three (3) companion(s) to attend the UEFA EURO 2024™ final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin (Germany) on Sunday 14 July 2024. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion(s) are available to take the prize on the relevant dates.

 

The ticket(s) will be delivered to the winner (and their companion(s)) by virtue of electronic mobile phone tickets with such method to be determined by UEFA or a third party on behalf of UEFA, at its sole discretion.

 

The prize also includes the following: 
•    hotel accommodation for two (2) nights at the Hotel Indigo, Berlin, on 13 July and 14 July 2024 on a bed and breakfast basis, based on two (2) people sharing a queen room; 
•    return economy flights from London Stansted airport (STN) to Berlin Brandenburg (BER) airport, departing on 13 July 2024 and returning on 15 July 2024, with luggage allowance of 20kgs per person; and
•    private return transfer by car from Berlin Brandenburg airport to the Hotel Indigo.

 

Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

 

The winner and their companion(s) are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid visa and/or the necessary travel documents to travel to Germany, as appropriate, in order to take-up their prize.

 

Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the Euros Package.

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to inform Unilever of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion(s) when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines. Please note that where the winner and/or their companion(s) have notified Unilever of a disability or limited mobility, Unilever will use reasonable endeavors to accommodate any accessibility requirements necessary to enable the winner and their companion(s) to attend the stadium including any related travel and accommodation requirements. While Unilever strives to ensure accessibility for all, the winner acknowledges that Unilever cannot guarantee that third-party providers of tickets, travel and accommodation will always meet specific accessibility requirements. These services are managed independently, and their policies and practices may vary. Unilever will not be responsible for any failure to meet accessibility requirements by third-party providers.

 

The winner will (and will procure that their companion(s) will) comply with any instructions or guidelines communicated by Unilever, or by a third party on behalf of Unilever, and any request to enter into additional terms and conditions and provide such personal information as is required.

 

The winner understands that the teams and players in respect of the UEFA EURO 2024™ final match may be subject to change without notice, and the UEFA EURO 2024™ final match may be cancelled, rescheduled or relocated, at UEFA’s discretion. The winner and their companion(s) acknowledge that in the event that the 2024 UEFA EURO 2024™ final match does not take place as specified for any reason, the Promoter and Unilever do not accept responsibility in these circumstances for losses to the winner and their companion(s) for travel and accommodation, and no alternative prize will be provided.

 

The prize excludes transportation between the winner’s home address and London Stansted airport, and any ground transportation in Germany other than transfers between the airport and the hotel as specified above, meals and drinks (other than those specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance and personal expenses (including any spending to be used whilst at the event).

There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable.

 

The winner and their companion(s) are subject to these terms and conditions, the UEFA’s terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.uefa.com/termsconditions/,   UEFA EURO 2024™ Ticketing Terms and Conditions, any Olympiastadion stadium rules which can be found at https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/event-guide/berlin/stadium/ and the 'Additional Terms’ below.

 

The winner will (and will procure that their companion(s) will) comply with all applicable ticket terms and conditions and stadium code of conduct terms, including the prohibition on the re-sale and transfer of such tickets, and prohibition of certain items in the stadium, any sanitary measures and policies in place, all applicable laws governing access or presence at the stadium and attendance at the UEFA EURO 2024™ final match. The winner and their companion(s) acknowledge that a breach of these terms may result in their ticket being revoked, entry to the stadium refused or being asked to leave the stadium.

Additional Terms:

 

The winner and their companion(s) may not be an Excluded Person. ‘Excluded Person’ means:

 

any person banned by the Host Association (i.e Deutscher Fußball-Bund eV (DFB), the German Football Federation, DFB-Campus, Kennedyallee, 274, 60528 Frankfurt am Main Germany, the UEFA member association appointed by UEFA to host and stage the UEFA EURO 2024™)
•    from membership of the fan club for the national football team (or banned from any equivalent official supporters club by a football governing body in any jurisdiction in the World);
•    any person subject to an administrative or judicial football ban under the applicable laws of the relevant Host City (i.e Berlin) and/or Germany;
•    any person banned by UEFA, FIFA, any football governing body or otherwise, from travelling to or attending an association football match; 
•    any person banned by UEFA, the Host Association and/or the Stadium owner from attending events at the Stadium; 
•    any person who is deemed by the participating teams in the UEFA EURO 2024™ Match to be a person to whom tickets should not be allocated (including but not limited to persons who have been issued with a stadium ban by the respective participating team); 
•    any person who is deemed by the relevant public authorities to be a person to whom tickets should not be allocated for safety and security reasons; and
•    any person who has breached or is in breach of the applicable tickets Terms and Conditions.

 

Tickets must be used only by the winner and named companion(s) for personal use only. The Winner and companion(s) shall not:

 

•    offer for sale and/or sell tickets publicly, in particular at auctions or online and/or on resale platforms;
•    sell or transfer tickets to any commercial or professional reseller and/or ticket broker; 
•    run any advertisements or promotions;
•    advertise, promote, give away, distribute, sell or offer for sale any product or service from any part of the stadium or via the display of overt commercial messages on clothing worn or items brought into the stadium; or 
•    exploit any marketing or promotional opportunities in relation to the ticket(s). For the avoidance of doubt, no branding, which may be aimed at promotional or marketing purposes whatsoever, may be displayed by any ticket holder at the stadium.

 

Entrants agree that, should they win the prize and tickets to the UEFA EURO 2024™ final match, their personal information and that of any companion(s) including, but not limited to their title, full names, email address, date of birth, passport / ID number, nationality, country of residence, match number, ticket number, block/row/seat information for their ticket, and where they have a disability or limited mobility, additional personal data relating to their accessibility requirements (“Personal Data”) will be processed by Unilever and Unilever’s third party agencies in order to perform disclosure checks in line with Unilever’s internal policies, provide the ticket to the winner and any companion(s) and arrange any agreed travel or accommodation.

 

Unilever and Unilever’s third-party agencies will process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Unilever’s privacy notice, a copy of which is available here: https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices.html. In order to fulfil the prize, Unilever is required to share Personal Data with UEFA, or any other entities duly authorized by UEFA. The purposes for which UEFA or any entities duly authorised by UEFA may use the Personal Data include to: process ticket requests and issue tickets, carry out any relevant safety, security and sanitary measures, comply with applicable laws and/or organise appropriate accessible seating for Accessibility tickets.
