Change Nationwide credit card limit more rapidly

I have now setup a standing order so it won't happen again.Not clued up on how Nationwide work - but my credit card bank allows setting up alerts by mobile 'phone.It's very useful to be reminded of when a payment is due.A standing order is a fixed amount - so may not be sufficient to cover the balance ?0
