What's the most "second" account has anyone opened with Chase just for switching? Anyone had a warning?

I had 3 in April, so I could switch to Ulster, RBS and NatWest .HillStreetBlues said:What's the most "second" account has anyone opened with Chase just for switching? Anyone had a warning?1 -
I’ve done 4 since March 24, only got into bank switching since then, not had a warning yet!1

Currently have my 6th one in the process at the moment. As mentioned above, also had 3 on the go.1

I think I'm on my 5th or 6th since summer last year. Running out of switches now though so don't think I'll get much higher.

Thanks all

I'm up to account 8, and have switched 7 of them so far. I've heard there's a limit of 10 Chase current accounts, but I'm unsure if this is a limit on the number of accounts you can hold simultaneously, or a cumulative total. Either way, I use them just for switching at the moment and it wouldn't be the end of the world if they got annoyed at me.

When switching a burner, do people bother putting money into account of just have a zero balance?

I put at least a few pence in, so that I can see something transfer when it's supposed to complete.

I do the same, maybe a bit more if there are DDs I'm expecting to be taken. But either way it's a good visual on the statement of the new bank that something has happened on the day the switch is due to complete.
