I have an old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in working condition that i have just found in a drawer from a few years ago and may as well sell it.
I have done a factory reset to get rid of personal info.
We have a Ce exchange in town and there online (webuy.com) says its worth around £25 which is ok, but can you sell in store? or does anyone have any other ideas to sell it?

The easiest thing to do is take your phone to CeX.  They will test it, which might take a couple of days, and then you get your money.
Selling on eBay is another option but it's less certain how much money you will get and there couple be problems if the buyer make a complaint after receiving the item.

  • Any chance you might want to buy a new Samsung phone? Many deals on phones sold by them direct will give an inflated value to any device as a trade-in.

    There's £50 off an A35 or £100 off a Z Flip for example.

I used CEX a couple of months ago.
Took it in store an hour or so after they opened, told to come back in an hour for them to test it. Everything fine and sold on the spot.

Are there any local phone repair shops ?

They may offer you more than CeX as they will use the components in repairs
