I don't know why the other two ladies didn't explain it properly. I did say to them that there should not be any non dependant reductions because my partner gets PIP and they kept saying its the whole household they have to take into account 
    The trouble is some staff including those working for council & DWP just guess at an answer than just say they don't know.
    Thankfully you at last seem to have found someone that does know and can correct their error.

    I did say to the lady that explained it properly, why didn't the others do that and she said I've worked here a long time. Thanks for your help, hopefully it's sorted now
