Will SDP Stop?

I’m thinking of moving my elderly mum into my rented home, social landlord.
She is currently in receipt of PIP at the higher rates for both components.
I’m also in receipt of PIP higher rates for both components, and income related ESA, I also get a carers premium added to ESA for looking after mum.
If she moved in as my non dependent will I lose my SDP on my ESA as the government website is a little confusing. I can’t really afford to lose £80 something a week if I am honest.

You won't lose your SDP as your mum also receives the daily living component of PIP. It is only where she wasn't in receipt of PIP that you would lose it.What other benefits does your mum receive? Pension Credit? if so, she too may be able to receive the equivalent to the SDP in Pension Credit as you too are in receipt of PIP. You would both be classed as living alone for benefit purposes. No non-dependent deduction will apply to any Housing Benefit you get as you receive PIP.1

If your mother is in receipt of PIP when she moves in with you then you should still be entitled to SDP. However, note that if your mother is herself receiving SDP then either that will cease or your carer's premium will cease - you can't have both.

No. As your mum also receives the care component of PIP, you will still receive the SDP1

Thanks for all the replies. My mum is getting state pension currently and a private pension and does not qualify for pension credit.0

Can I ask another question regardIng a friend.
A friend is in receipt of income based ESA and was getting SDP but her father moved in and did not get PIP or DLA or Pension Credit. So her SDP stopped despite her dad being more disabled than her and 88, she moved him in after her mother died (who did get high rate PIP) as he was unable to cope alone.
She owns the home, her mother left her.Mother was living with her, as parents were divorced.
I have encouraged her to apply for Attendance Allowance for her dad, if the claim is successful will she get her SDP back?0 -
^She will get the SDP back. AA works in exactly the same way as PIP regarding the SDP rules.Good point @Famau regarding the potential problem with SDP for the mum / Carers Premium for the OP. The OP has since clarified that the mother doesn't get Pension Credit so this wouldn't be an issue in this instance but I had overlooked this potential problem.0

Edit: per Yamor's post below, apparently she could have. Apologies for the incorrect understanding.1 -

If the OP is not actually receiving Carer's Allowance (e.g., they are getting c-ESA with an income-related top up), then the Mum could get the pension credit additional amount for severe disability despite the OP getting the Carer Premium within their ESA.2
