Morning everyone
I woke up with little one snuggled up beside me, I never hear her she must come through very quietly. DD picked her up after breakfast to take her to school, she was very excited to see her mummy again. I'll sort her things out this morning and DD will get them and little kitten after school. Kitten is going crazy chasing a little ball round the kitchen floor.
I've got my lunch to make, dishes to wash and then some ironing to do before work so I'd best get on.
Nanny I was sorry to read about your dads stroke, I hope he is doing better.
And Camelot good news about your job.
It looks like the sun might come out here - yesterday was one of those days when you put you jacket on then take it off 5 minutes later, it couldn't make it's mind up.
Hope everyone has a good day x
ETA Florence I hope Mr F is ok x10 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. It's bright at the moment but will it last!
Yesterday it felt lovely out and about in the sunshine but out of the sun it was still chilly. I took myself off to Skipton as it seemed a shame to waste a rare good day. It was busy busy so I think the coach trips must be back to full strength now. I like listening to all the different accents!
I had an early text from middle DGD this morning inviting herself and younger one for tea after school. I don't see nearly enough of them these days with increasing amounts of school work, as well as on top the extra dancing rehearsals for the show they are in next month. Back in their younger days when I had 3 under 5's to look after, plus sleepovers several days a week ,I used to long for life to get less hectic but I do miss those days now!
I seem to have quite a few jobs lined up for today as I am leaving for the caravan after lunch tomorrow for 9 days. Priority is sorting out a menu plan and making sure I have meals sorted for each day. I can't do with going hungry! I also need to replenish my dossett boxes as I need to make sure I will have enough medication with me.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, recovering, worrying or fed up. Take care all and be safe xx

Unfortunately the penicillin isn't helping my sinus infection so I've filled in another online form and will get a phone call back this morning. I'm just fed up with it and would like to feel better soon!Sorry that you're still feeling so rotten WL - these infections seem to settle in for the long haul. Fingers crossed that the GP can do something else for you.@AA - I had my new hip op done privately in 2019 as the waiting list was in years and I was in agony and looking after my beloved DMum. It was great to have the choice of date which gave me time to arrange things for Mum. My dear Dad would probably have not been too happy but sometimes needs must. I have reconciled myself to it by arguing that I cleared a place out of the list for someone else.

Morning allStarted the cleaning downstairs early this morning and after mopping one side of the lounge diner I'm sitting having a coffee while it dries and then I'll do the other endHad a lovely catch up with my friend yesterday although was sad to hear about her DGD who I knew was disabled, but didn't know how bad it was. I very rarely am in touch with my 2 DGDs because of a messy divorce but to see your only DGD so disabled and can't really communicate with her must so sad and frustrating.Hope everyone starts to feel better with their ailments. The miserable cold weather can't be helping at all. I'm adamant I won't turn the heating on so when sitting down in the afternoon I'm snuggling into my fluffing dressing gown. So much for flaming June!Have a good day all x9

@Gers I had a call back just after I came out of the shower(!) and have been prescribed Co-Amoxyclav and some sort of nasal spray that isn't available OTC. Let's hope they do the trick.

Chap on desk couldn't understand it.That's probably what the letter you got was about - it's a shame that the letter didn't make it clear that the appointment had been rescheduled. What a wasted journey for you both.@WL - good work from your surgery. I'm sure that the new med will zap your bugs!@TA - it's so lovely that your DGD's still want to come and stay over with you, it's a testament to your love for them.6
