Party Wall indemnity insurance

Options
We have a extension on our house, now 18 years old. We are selling our house, but have no party wall agreement. The surveyor,  advised we may need "Party Wall Indemnity Insurance" but can't find this insurance online, anyone now where you can get this insurance?

Your conveyancer would arrange any indemnity policies required, it's not something you go onto confused.com for.
  • If you didn't follow the process in the party wall act, building on the boundary would have been trespass. Even if you followed the correct process you would be liable for any damage to your neighbours property from the work. As your extension has been built for 18 years any allegation of trespass or complaint about damage is well out of time.
