Wrong parking code on ticket

I was parked in an off street car park in front of a garage. The warden proceeded to put a ticket on my car with a code 62 violation code which is parked on a footway or kerb. This is an on street contravention . I was parked in a residential car park on the road with no kerb in site. The only contravention i was committing was obstructing the garage which is a code 92 off street (car park) violation. Should i contest this ticket

Whether you contest it is up to you. You seem to have grounds to do so, in that you did not commit the offence they say you did. But can you evidence this?
