Why my Samsung Oven Not Heating

That's a bummer, but don't worry. Let's figure this out together. I’ve had my fair share of kitchen mishaps, so I know how frustrating this can be. Let's dive in!
Check the Basics First
Power Supply: Is your oven plugged in? I know it sounds silly, but sometimes we overlook the simplest things. Make sure the power cord is firmly plugged into the outlet. If it is, try another appliance in the same outlet to see if it’s working. No luck? It might be the circuit breaker. Give that a quick check.
Settings: Double-check that you’ve set the oven correctly. Is it on the right mode? Bake, broil, or roast? Sometimes we forget to set it right, and it just sits there, cold as a cucumber.
The Heating Element
The heating element is the heart of your oven. If it's not working, your oven won't get hot. When I had this issue, I looked inside my oven to see if the element was glowing red. If it’s not, it might be broken. You can do a quick test with a multimeter if you have one. No multimeter? No worries, it’s time to call in a pro.
The Thermostat
The thermostat controls the temperature. If your oven is getting some heat but not enough, the thermostat might be the culprit. You can test this with a multimeter too. When mine went kaput, I noticed the oven would start to heat but then just stop. A faulty thermostat can be replaced, but it might need a professional touch.
The Igniter (For Gas Ovens)
If you have a gas oven, the igniter is key. It lights the gas to produce heat. When mine acted up, the oven stayed cool, and there was no flame. The igniter should glow bright orange. If it doesn’t, it might need replacing. This is a bit tricky and might need a pro’s help.
Control Board
The control board is the oven's brain. If everything else seems fine, this could be the issue. When my oven’s control board failed, it just wouldn’t heat no matter what I did. This part can be pricey and complicated to replace, so it’s best left to a professional.
I remember the first time my oven didn’t heat up. I was all set to bake my favorite lasagna. I preheated the oven, but after 20 minutes, it was still cold. I checked the power, settings, and even the heating element. Turns out, it was the thermostat. I called a repair service, and they fixed it in no time. It was a simple problem, but it taught me to check all the basics before panicking.

Or a split personality🤔.The responder appears to be US based, but has been remarkably unlucky to have suffered all those multiple faults on their electric & gas cookers😉1

The Samsung NX58H5650WS appears to be aimed at the N.American market. The reply mentions checking the power cord and an outlet - Distinctly american phrases... And the fault finding looks to be regurgitated user manual content.

So after a whole 30 seconds of digging (this thread isn't worth any more time), Homely Solve is a US site which has a blog post with the same text as the reply above - and one of the people on their About page is called Maruf.
As Homely Solve and Maruf are both American, they should know another famous US product ...
