Virgin M Certificate of interest

Completing a self assessment for requires an individual to declare interest earned on savings accounts, it happens every year and is common knowledge. All of the banks and building societies I bank with provide these automatically, albeit I normally have to wait till Early June for the last one to be available. Virgin Bank however require a request for said document. To frustrate this even further, it's a fairly lengthy process to both find out how and to actually achieve the desired outcome. This was made worse today by attempting to follow their instructions only to find that they were incorrect and the initial 'View Accounts' link neither existed on the online website or the banking app. If it's simple enough for all other banks, why would Virgin frustrate the process by having account holders make a request.
