well done, my wife and I got our dros yesterday too. i made a thread about it in main forum.

we used Christians against poverty, who were amazing.
but money wellness wanted us to do £1 a month for 1000 years
money wellness should be stripped of the right to administer dros imo.

we couldn't use CAB cos they wouldn't split the family car costs fairly, and said they were all my expenses so refused a dro application for us., but Christians against poverty did split the car expenses fairly.

anyway I don't see the point of doing a 6 year plus  dmp giving £ hundreds every month for years to a creditor that invented the loan in the first place for free with a simple keystroke on their business ledger computer.

your credit file is wrecked for 6 years in a dmp or dro.

so it's best  to get it over and done with in 1 year only in a dro and then spend the final 5 yrs perhaps changing jobs , saving up. etc.knowing creditors can't get a penny from you

nothing to be ashamed of about insolvency, if actors and pop stars get insolvent all the time, so be it., then they do it again and again.

i wish you all the best, make sure nothing changes in the next 12 months and sleep well.
take care. i can't sleep cos got a chest infection that's keeping me awake lol. better than debts keeping you awake.

I hope you think like me and never get credit again eg for that holiday or sofa. or a credit card ever again, credit cards are evil imo.

in fact warren buffett one of the world's richest men who I study and admire says you will always be poor if you pay for things with a credit card.
