Switching to Santander Edge questions

I have a Santander Lite account and would like to move to an Edge account.Do Santander really do all the organising and detail?I have a few ISAs and Bonds that pay monthly interest into my Lite current account. Will Santander contact the various banks to ensure they will pay the interests into the new Edge account?

AFAIK, you retain your sort code and account number, as well as your debit card and all your login details when you upgrade your account. You can do this online in seconds. There's therefore no need to inform anyone of anything different.

Alternatively, just leave your 123 Lite untouched and open an Edge account. They will do a hard search on your credit file but this shouldn't matter, and your Edge account should be open in no time. It's what I have done because my Lite is paying better cashback than the Edge. My Edge is mainly sitting there empty and without SOs or DDs. I just need it to be eligible for the Edge Saver.

I’ve just (4 days ago) changed my 123 Select account to an Edge Up account. All done easily and quickly on line, and absolutely nothing else to do. As has been said Santander make sure everything associated with your previous account remains the same for the new one.
