Contract + Overtime
Options
Hi All,
I'll qualify on paper for a DRO at the end of the month - £35k unsecured debt, no assets (no car, I use my parent's)
Looking at my income last month, £1057 was from my base contracted hours, £1244 was from overtime. My net was therefore £1872
This month, I've barely got any overtime at all, but I am guaranteed my £1057.
My main question is that I pay my parents £700 per month in board and my share of the bills, council tax etc, and use of their car when I earn good. But they let me off with that when it's low, or I top it up another month, so some months my budget will be a big negative if I only get guaranteed.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation? I will be doing some overtime but it won't be anywhere near as I need to slow it down anyway
Sorry if that doesn't make any sense.
