Removed as I think it was a daft post. I shouldn't feel guilty.

Just to clarify I do not drive. My husband does not take the car to work.

It used for my benefit

Think I'm being dense but reading your post I'm not understanding the issue.

I’m also confused as to why if you’ve got a Motability car, you’re getting taxis?
    Do you not drive?
Bottom line though, is your money your choice.  No one else’s business what you spend your money on aside from your husband if it’s impacting on family finances.

Yes, I'm confused if you have a mobility car why you're using taxi's. The mobility car is meant to be used for your purpose.

It does read as if your husband is using it to get to and from his work and just dropping you off when convenient and you might need to be careful with the motability guidelines around that because on the face of it, he’s using it more than you are.

    Hi

I don't drive. My husband drives. He doesn't take it to work.  He gets the local transport as parking at his work to expensive and doesn't want to break motab rules..

This is not allowed under the motability rules.

Why not? The husband doesn't use it for work, he uses public transport.  You can have up to 3 drivers on your mobility vehicle. I have my daughter on mine and she often drives for me when we go out. She has her own car at home so the only time she drives mine is if we use my car to go out.

It seems you answered your own question so that's good. Don't feel guilty. There is no point being the richest woman in the cemetery.
