HMRC Redress for Child Benefit not being paid on time last week

Hi
I have just received an email from HMRC after I complained about last weeks Child Benefit debacle. They have apologised profusely and as an acknowledgement of their error they are sending me £50.
I don't know if it's too late to put a complaint in now but must be worth a try.
Hope this helps a few people out.
