Park Zone limited parking fine!

Hello all,
i have been dealing with a parking fine i received over 6 months ago from Park zone limited for a parking fine i received for having “no valid permit displayed”. Basically what has happened is that i parked in my allocated parking space in my apartment building and i got a fine for not having my permit “displayed” the reason it wasn't displayed is that it fell out of the holder when i last exited the car. I have continuously tried to appeal this parking fine stating what has happened and explaining that i am a resident in this building and also offering my tenancy agreement and a statement from my landlord as proof that i am and was a resident who is entitled to that parking space when then fine was issued. The fine has went from Park Zone to Zzps to GCTT certified enforcement agents and now to QDR solicitors limited.
My question is that should i continue to fight this as i am anxious of it being brought to court but also have strong moral objections with being forced to pay a fine for a space that is rightfully mine?
any help would be much appreciated

You haven't been "fined" so please stop referring to the speculative invoice from an unregulated private parking company as such. If you do find the word "fine" anywhere in all the correspondence you have received over this, I will gladly pay it for you.
Have you read the Newbies/FAQ thread yet? Of course you fight this. You ignore any debt collector letters.
What does your Tenancy Agreement say about parking? Does it mention anything about permits or that a third party can invoice you for £100 if you don't display one?5 -
Just ignore the threatograms.Come back if you get a court claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You said 'fine' no less than seven times.
It's NOT a fine - It's a speculative invoice.
Now it's scary letters from debt collectors who are toothless.

Thanks for the advice and sorry for using the word “fine” you are correct it does say parking charge. I have just checked my tenancy agreement and all it says is that to “Only park in the space allocated to you in this agreement.” Ans “Not use your allocated parking space for any purpose except storing a private motor car or motor bike vithout our written permission.”LDast said:You haven't been "fined" so please stop referring to the speculative invoice from an unregulated private parking company as such. If Park Zone Limited are daft enough to take this to a court claim your tenancy agreement and the fact it does not require you to display a permit will trump any alleged contract they suggest you made arising from the silly signage they no doubt have in place.3
