I dont know if I should just donate them to the charity shop
I would at least sell them in one job lot, if there is anything of value it's likely a couple of resellers will push the price up and maybe a couple of collectors will give you a decent end price.

Job lots on eBay tend to be cherry picked with the best stuff gone, a genuine unsorted lot might sell well.

I enjoy looking through bits and pieces to find something of value, it's a bit of a treasure hunt really, I'm guessing they don't take up too much space so you could sort them to blocks of approx 100 to go through for values or in blocks of say 50 to list as singles at 99p each and see what happens.

If you use Sell Similar after the first listing it shouldn't take that long to stick 50 listings on eBay.

Maybe invest in some board back envelopes that are letter sized, offer to combine postage generously and ensure the photos are nice and clear, you might end up with a nice result for the hard work :)

I Sold over 1,000 of these on Ebay as a job lot as I also didn't know what was what and how to grade each card. I did a bit of research before hand however.

Each card is a part of a set which can be identified by a small symbol on each one, so I looked at a reference website and then checked for the highest value cards for the few different sets i had and then a quick rummage to see if any were there.

Found a few worth about £10-£20 while most were worthless, then I did a few photos with the valuable cards tactically showing and got around £150 for them. Maybe a couple hours of my time in total and card condition wasn't in play. I am sure I could have got more if I spent more time, but this was an ok compromise for me
