L or P shaped baths

I'm in the process of getting a new bathroom. My options are limited due to the size of the room. I will be going for either an L or P shaped bath with shower over. I prefer the look of the L shape but have read that P shape is more comfortable to bath in. It would be great if anyone with an L shape bath could let me know…

We always had a shower over the bath at the plug end and the plug was never an issue. Depends where your shower head is fixed (rather than the shower box). Ours was always fixed a couple of feet from the end, on the side wall, rather than on the end wall.
