ParkMaven Birmingham Arcadian Carpark

I purchased a ticked through JustPark to see a gig at the O2 Academy on 15/5. See below.
Booking details: |
The Arcadian Car Park 70 Hurst St, Birmingham, B5 4TD |
VRM: AK***** |
Booking ID (Removed by Forum Team) I don't go to Birmingham as a rule so followed the satnav and parked. I received a PCN and appealed showing them my JustPark ticket and email. They rejected this saying: Site: Arcadian Centre Car Park Issue date: 22/05/2024 POPLA Code: (Removed by Forum Team) Total amount due: (£60.00 until 17/06/2024) (£100.00 until 01/07/2024) Thank you for your appeal against the above Parking Charge Notice (PCN). We have carefully considered your appeal, and on this occasion your appeal has been declined. The evidence you have provided shows that a booking was made using a different parking operator, rather than YourParkingSpace. This is the reason for you receiving a PCN, despite having made payment. The car park that your vehicle was recorded within is easily identifiable by the signage on entry which states the location as the YourParkingSpace Arcadian Centre Car Park Car Park. In addition to multiple signs placed around the carpark which clearly outline how payment can be made. As it is a case of driver error, the responsibility does not lie with YourParkingSpace nor ParkMaven and you are liable for this notice; however, on this occasion - as a gesture of goodwill - we have reduced the charge to £60.00 to cover the outstanding parking tariff and cost of issuing the ticket. You have now reached the end of our internal appeals procedure and therefore you now have two options; you can either pay or appeal to POPLA - you cannot do both. I could pay the £60 and give up but I am frustrated because I bought this ticket in good faith and it says Arcadian Car Park on it. Please advise my best course of action. Thanks in advance. I have reported your thread because you have left your PoPLA code showing which could be used by some unscrupulous person to make a deliberately false appeal on your behalf.I married my cousin. Just ignore them; don't try POPLA. Tell them if you move house within 6 years. That's it.
Ignore £170 debt demands.
Come back if ever they try a small claim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It doesn't need to be cancelled. See my advice. Same for you.
