N180 - Your defence was rejected

Well i was doing well. Filed my defense against DCB Legal on time as per templates here, but i didn't receive an N180 form and then I suddenly received a notice that I had 7 days to respond with my N180. I completed the N180 and emailed it same day I received that notice and got email confirmation back.
I've now received Judgement for Claimant and the MCOL shows my defence as rejected - no idea why.
I've tried the helpline - no one ever answers. I have just emailed them, but I doubt they will reply before the payment deadline of 17/06.
Is there anything else I can do? The only thing I can think is my N180 was considered late, but seems odd.

Email a complaint to the CNBC attaching the emails where you sent them the DQ. Insist that the CCJ order be revoked immediately.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for the comments - much appreciated.
I completed the complaints form - seemed a bit genereic so not sure that will work. I also emailed the DQ email address again and will see what happens. If anyone knows of a better way to raise a query any info would be welcome. I'll have a further rummage in this forum also.

Ring the CNBC at 8.30am one morning this week (they will answer quickly) and ask how your complaint is being progressed and how they will compensate you for the distress caused by their error. Be pushy and insistent. Officious. Assertive. Not rude.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
