I recently had a new boiler installed and received a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate direct from the boiler manufacturer.
The plumber registered the boiler with the manufacturer who are authorised by Gas Safe to issue the certificate so if your certificate has been issued by the manufacturer then I would think that will also mean the guarantee side has been dealt with.
Towards the bottom it says: Gas Safe Register has notified your local authority building control of the work detailed on this certificate.0
