I have tried to search this but couldn't find much..
Is there an app that links to your bank account to help see where your payments are going and to help with budgeting/saving?
Thanks

I use an app called Snoop (on Android)1

Emma also does this. Available on Android or iPhone0

I’ve recently got Snoop and it is really good. You will have to recategorise a lot of transactions but it nice to see all of your accounts together and shows how much you spend vs the month before etc. There is the option to pay for extra features if it is something that you would find useful.0

I use MoneyHub and happy with this one. Free for quite a while and yearly fee £14.99.0

This is what I am finding too, mainly the internal transfers that are red hot for me between different accounts.steven141 said:I’ve recently got Snoop and it is really good. I still haven't worked out where some transactions sit best into which category but I guess that's personal preferences.
Otherwise it is beneficial to me and I am using the free version without issue.2 -
I use Actual Budget with GoCardless integration to sync multiple bank accounts and credit cards and link them with your budget. It is perhaps a little techy with a learning curve (especially if you are not used to envelope budgeting) but it is powerful and when up and running it's highly efficient. Self hosting works really well for me.0

I use the free version too. Some I have to recategorise myself everything I transfer money to my own accounts but it’s not a big deal. It’s a nice way of seeing how much you are spending and on what. It isn’t perfect but works fine and is free.moneytorques said:

That’s right. You have to add them via open banking.HillStreetBlues said:Out of interest do these apps work by giving them 3rd party access you your bank accounts?2
