Britannia Parking Group - CCJ/Claim

Britannia Parking Group have filed a claim for “failing to validate payment”. I parked and paid for the parking via the paybyphone app - I provided the receipts and the transaction statement showing that I had paid and the legal team advised me that they will still be proceeding with the claim after having seen the evidence. I’m concerned as to why they’ve chosen to proceed even though I have evidence to show I had paid during the time they claimed I hadn’t and now wondering whether it’s worth settling to avoid a CCJ on my credit file?

Post a redacted picture of the claim form, hiding the name and address, and the VRM details on the left, and hide the reference number and password on the right too, leaving the dates showing
Its a roboclaim, don't get paranoid, you are probably one of hundreds or thousands of claims being initiated
Even if you lost in court, the total will be less
There is no chance of a CCJ going onto the public register as long as you pay the claimant within 30 days of a judgment going against you, so a grace period to pay in full, to avoid that credit file issue, its not an issue with prompt payment
A typical loss in court is about £200 , not the total on that claim form

Who is the legal who is stupid enough not to accept proof ???nambikitty said:Britannia Parking Group have filed a claim for “failing to validate payment”. Is the VRM on the paybyphone app the same as that stated on the claim form?1

But you can't get a CCJ by defending a claim and following our advice. It's impossible.nambikitty said:Britannia Parking Group have filed a claim for “failing to validate payment”. Even if you lose in the end at a hearing you are not left with a CCJ because you'd just pay (typically about £212). Less than the claim. And it doesn't sound like you will lose unless you paid for the wrong location code?
NO-ONE risks a CCJ by defending.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
