Switch to Octopus?
Options
4 weeks until my EON next fix is finished and i am looking to move to Octopus energy.
Already have an account with Octopus as they have taken over my FIT payments.
I have 4 kwp of solar panels producing around 4000 kwh per year and take around 1000 kwh of electricity and 7000 kwh of gas per year.
Which product is best for me? a traditional fix/variable or Agile or Tracker?
I am willing to take a risk on prices so can some one explain the difference between tracker and agile and whether have solar panels will affect the choice.

Have a look at the Gary Does Solar Youtube channel. He explains all their tariffs very clearly. Flux might be worth looking at. You can mix and match tariffs, to a certain extent.0

And Tim and Kat's Green Walk on YouTube - they did a rule of thumb video on which tariff to be on.
Octopus Intelligent Flux won for them (but only available to GivEnergy battery owners at present).
Plus don't forget to ask around your friends/family/colleagues for a referral code. Get £50 off your bill.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)0 -
Good call on the rule of thumb video.1
