Money on hold

I just sold a few odd things and couldn’t get to grips with the eBay postage, so I just marked one as dispatched, and paid for postage. The money is on hold until they confirm delivery. The buyer has confirmed he received it, I asked him to note it as received, but I’m not sure where it shows, and my money is still on hold. What can I do to sort this please?

Usually it’s only the delivery confirmation online number that eBay will accept , but if you don’t have that your money should be released in 21 days anyway. 

Was it by any chance a parcel as then you can manually add the delivery notification yourself. Large letters bought online also have a delivery receipt (Ito ly works about 85% of the time though), but I’ve not found any delivery confirmation that works if you buy a LL from the PO, but I do that rarely so someone might know if the receipt shows anything.

This delay in payments to sellers is only for new sellers, once you have built up a few sales (don't know how many), you get paid more quickly.

It went second class as a large letter. But thank you, and they have no confirmed that I’ll get it in a couple of weeks.
