Bought Leasehold Flat shared Ownership Major Works Not Included in Section 20

Hi I bought a shared ownership flat and A2Dominion are the housing association acting as freeholder. After purchasing the flat I discovered a major works charge included in my annual service charge, around a year after moving in. This major works charge of over £5k wasn’t included  in the management pack received from A2Dominion. The previous leaseholders legal team did not disclose the major works either. After moving in I’ve confirmed with other leaseholders that the dates of the Section 20 were prior to my purchase of the flat. In the management pack it clearly states ‘No major work till 2026/27’. The housing association are denying any fault, the previous leaseholder has stopped communicating with my solicitors and my solicitors have said they are no longer involved in the matter. Wonder where should I go from here? And do I have a leg to stand on?

P.s got an appointment phone call with LEASE soon and potentially call the Housing Ombudsman once I’ve been advised further from them,

Thanks in advance!
