Three months ago someone ran into the back of my car on a motorway. The upshot is that I am unlikely to get my car back for another two months. Whilst the repair costs are being covered by the third party insurer and provided with a hire car, I am still having to make the finance payments and insurance on my own car which I'm not able to use. Would I be entitled to claim anything to compensate for loss of use whilst still having the comply with the financial commitments?

No, because you are no worse off, as you have use of a hire car.

As you are not paying for the hire car what do you want compensation for. They could pay compensation for your lack of use of your car and then not provide a hire car. You would not be any better off.

Not if you have a hire car to compensate you.
Why is it taking 2 months to fix?

    Did you suffer any whiplash?

Either you have a hire car or you claim loss of use of your own car, you cannot have both. Loss of use is generally a flat rate, was £10/day in my claims days, if you own your car outright, lease it or have it on finance doesn't change the amount, the TP cannot be blamed for your financial choices.
