Morning all
Nice day here again, sorry for those of you who have cold and rain, I have a wash about to finish which can go on the line for a while.
I have an appointment at 11 but other than that the day is my own I will take the dogs out for a good walk later DD will probably come as she is off today and for the next week she is off to Crete Sunday lucky thing.
Not sure about dinner tonight but there is still 1/2 chicken from yesterday so it might involve that, if not we will have it for sandwiches.I saw mum yesterday and she is feeling much brighter so hopefully a few more days and she will be back to normal, thanks for all the good wishes x
AA good luck with blood giving I always gave regularly but had to stop when I got breast cancer and can no longer give, I managed 26 pints in all so I was pleased with that.
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning allBack from food shopping and the sun is still shining, expected to cloud over at 1ish so will make the most of it!Collected and tried on some cropped trousers I'd ordered online. I know I'm short but even these short length ones came below my ankles so returned them there and then and got a refund! Not alot planned today but might have another go at some troublesome ivy intertwined with a hedge in the garden.Keep safe all x9

Hello all, did 3 loads of washing yesterday and everything dried outside, now today it's drizzling.
I've had about an hours sleep as last night as Dad had a stroke while watching an open air D. Day Commemoration at our local park with his neighbours. Luckily St Johns Ambulance were there and came to get us then took Dad to hospital in their ambulance car while we followed behind as we couldn't manage him and all the ambulances were backed up at the hospital. We went straight through to Triage then Resus. He has a bleed on the brain and has lost the use of his left arm and his mouth has dropped. He was able to get the feeling back into his left leg but has lost some strength in it to walk. They've kept him in and found him a bed after his BP dropped back to normalish with meds so we got home around 3am and I haven't slept.
My post was interrupted by the sm delivery man so I'm having a cup of coffee then I'll go up Dad's for some pj's etc then over to the hospital later.
Take care all
nan xx

Morning all,Nan, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dads stroke, wishing him well & hope you can catch up on some sleep (hugs)Not much going on really, I did go for a walk yesterday once the sun came out, and then I ended up making some birthday cards, not done any for ages so I might do a few more today, build the stash up. We don't need to go for DGS today so have some time, certainly won't be sitting outside - it's too breezy and cool.Topsy, ooh I've never thought of looking in charity shops for watches, I'll tell him !Taff, it looks tidy atm, but for how long ?....Undecided on tea as yet, there are a couple of options in the fridge after my shop was delivered yesterday.Right, that's about it from me
have a good day.

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers. Hope the haircut and colour goes okay. Having mine cut tomorrow but I colour it myself as I’m too tight on funds and time to get it done professionally!!
Enjoy having little one to stay @dp1 x
Well done on the blood donating @AlwaysAllie – I’ve had to stop due to low BP and several failed attempts which was embarrassing. Think I managed 36 in all.
We have a nice day here – shame I’m in the office but DH and I are out for dinner tonight for our anniversary. DDad, DD and DS2 will be having fish and chips at home. DDad is hooked on our politics so will leave him to watch the next debate!
Have a good day everyone
Coxy
