Good morning Gers, and thanks for starting.
It's a grey start here but dry.
I haven't read back on yesterday yet, so don't know what high jinks everyone was up to.
I had an ok day, there's nothing much happening here.
Hope everyone has a good day today though, and sending thoughts to our poorly or sad people.
Take care folks.12 -
Morning All
Thanks for starting us off Gers.
Back to winter weather here, showers, grey clouds and very windy. If it clears up later I'll put a wash on and put it out.
Nothing of note happening here, I slept right up to the alarm this morning so my usual 'pottering' time has gone. Thank goodness it's Friday!
Hope everyone is well and you have a good day. Take care. XX11 -
Hi everyone,
I was in bed early last night so I was up early as well. I've done my morning Duolingo and need to tidy round before the cleaner gets here.
Laura has a hospital appointment so I will be taking Esther to sing and sign this morning. Both she and Nate sign quite a bit so I need to keep up.
Have a good day.12 -
It’s Friday!Yesterday was another long work/invigilation day and I was tired with a splitting headache when I got home. Had to resort to tablets but a nice sunny dog walk, chat with a neighbour and seeing two hares in the village cheered me up.Today will be getting ready for a craft fair tomorrow plus donating some blood at lunchtime (I hate it it, but go cos I think I should and, more recently, because DM has regular transfusions so think I should do my bit!).There’s also a huge amount of dust to move around from the building work outside, there’ll be more over the coming weeks but need to try to rehome some it 😂
have a good day all

Morning folks and thanks GERS for starting off. Currently blue sky and sunshine here, but will it last! And hopefully it will be a bit warmer than yesterday! I was back in my winter woollies, for goodness sake!
Boring old Friday Tidy to do today. I'm sure Fridays roll round every other day. I made a start yesterday but a phone call from Oz (sister of the friend who is over here) which lasted 2 hours scuppered that idea!
And talking of the Oz friends they are on the move again today. After 3 days in Blackpool they are heading for Manchester today. Their endless supply of photos make me feel as though I am doing the trip with them!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better and fed up. RUBY I hope DM is on the mend. Meant to mention yesterday that it was nice to have TOPSY back with us. Good news about DS, new house and new fella! Take care all, stay safe xx

Once again rain is battering at the house and there's low lying cloud. I really hope it clears up later.Yesterday I watched the morning programme from Normandy, it was very moving to see all those veterans being looked after so well there. Then I did little domestic chores. I didn't go shopping as I decided that I had enough to last another two days so nothing was needed, just wanted! In the afternoon I heard a persistent tapping at my kitchen window, when I went to look there was a male bullfinch chaffinch flying into it, falling back and then launching into it again. For hours, very weird! I contacted the local bird club to ask about this behaviour, turns out that the bird probably 'sees' a rival male in the window and is trying to fight it. Mating behaviour from the wee male. It was back sitting on the feeder looking at the window this morning until the rain started when it retreated to the big tree though it's still tweeting away.Today I have a haircut and colour appointment, a bit later than usual as I changed days. The cost has gone up again, to be expected I suppose, which made me think about not bothering with the colour after this one, then I changed my mind, I am not ready to stop it yet. I'm not prone to vanity, this is a sticking point.I hope that everyone has a good day, even if it's cold and wet.12

Morning everyone I’m off out to do my volunteering soon it’s cold and grey but dry up to now I got a load of washing dry yesterday. I’ve got a little gammon joint to cook today I will cook it and make peas pudding at the same time that’s tonight sorted and there will be enough to make sandwiches for today and tomorrow lunch time . Gers I’m the same I’m not ready to go grey yet I’m lucky I only have a few at the sides but I like them covered. AA well done for donating I hope it’s all over quickly for you and you feel better than yesterday good luck with the dust . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12

Good morning all
Thank you for the start Gers
Looks like it's going to be another sunny day.
Gardener came yesterday, really pleased, what he can do in a couple of hours would take me all week.
Not much planned for today, probably just pop out for some fruit.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.14 -
Morning everyone
Bright blue sky here but very windy.
Youngest DD is going to Tenerife today. I brought little ones case home with me yesterday, as well as little kitten. She's trying to play and hide and seek with my cat at the minute, who is having none of it!
Little one and I will get a taxi back home after school today and we have Lilidorei tomorrow. Hopefully she'll stay well for the next few days, with no emergencies. There are 2 scenarios I have my fingers crossed won't happen - her tubey comes out of her tummy - I have a spare one and a video on my phone showing me what to do or the monitor on her arm stops working and I have to put a new one in.
Right I'd better get on. I'll go down to do dads banking before work.
Hope everyone has a good day x13 -
