You're allowed to save as you see fit when claiming Universal Credit. However.... there are the lower and upper limits of £6K and £16K.. below the first doesn't not affect entitlement.. between them does and above the latter ends entitlement. There are some exceptions due to being able to sometimes disregard monies for a while but I'm not sure what you describe relates to any.SirSteven1986 said:Do universal credit mind you trying to save bit of something up while on the system? Like I’ve posted they hardly put anything towards it now. Basically my self employment is window cleaning but had to take up a part time job aswell to make ends meet. But also been saving so can buy some more window work and quit employment which don’t enjoy as much."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1
