Will Tui/first choice cancel the holiday if 30mins late to pay?

Hi i have a holiday full payment due on the 13th June i get paid on the 14th where I’ll be able to make a full payment. I have booked with first choice which is Tui, they won’t offer extensions due to the balance being 4 weeks til departure date. And they are saying they can’t guarantee my booking won’t be cancelled. I literally will wait up to midnight and pay as soon as my pay goes in my bank.
Has anyone been able to make a payment the day after the cut off date?  I don’t have a credit card to put this On so not an option.

Do you not have any friends, family or parents with a credit card?
I've been up at midnight before and my balance has not updated for a few hours (nat west) so I'm not sure you can rely on this.

Systems are highly automated. Risk is all yours. There's no guarantees.

Maybe look at it from the other side - can the bank give you a temporary overdraft?  I've got my credit card limit temporarily raised in the past when I was buying a car.

There's no guarantee that you will have the same experiences as someone else.
As suggested, I would look into alternative ways to pay by the due date.

I personally would not chance paying late, but have done it once by accident.
In the days before I carried a mobile phone, I was returning from one holiday and, on checking my emails, I noticed the payment for the next holiday had been due a couple of days prior. I paid immediately and it was fine, funnily though, about 10 minutes after paying I got a 'reminder to pay' email.

If TUI say there are no guarantees then, I would not chance it and consider in my instance above I was maybe lucky.

If TUI are saying they can't guarantee it won't be cancelled, then I'm not sure what anyone on an anonymous Internet forum can add?

I could tell you it will all be fine, but then what if you get the cancellation email at 12:01?

In practice it depends when TUI systems will process the cancellation. Will it be at midnight on the date 14 days before departure? Will it be done at 14 days exactly from the time of the flight departure? Is it automated or does it require staff to process (so wouldn't be done until office hours?)

Unfortunately nobody can answer these questions and it seems TUI won't give a specific answer.

I agree with above see if theres a friend or family member happy to put it on their credit card if you pay them back immediately, or see if your bank will arrange a temporary overdraft?

Are you in a position to visit a TUI store ?
A face to face meeting is generally helpful - although as said, nothing is guaranteed.
Second best option would be to call a store rather than trying to contact central customer service.
  • Beg steal or borrow - or facing the very high possibility that your holiday will be cancelled and you will not get the full amount back.
