can HP carts be refilled?

I thought HP and others had made it almost impossible to refill their ink cartridges? But the other day I saw someone in the US doing this on YouTube ...

Never tried it myself , but when I recently installed some 'looky-likey' cartridges into an HP printer the printer / computer recognised them as 'reused HP cartridges' which suggests it's possible.1

Yes that's why you can sell empty ones and refilling kits are available colour being the most messy black is ok but the inks you buy aren't as vivid YouTube videos on this process are available my advice is wear gloves stay near a sink or on cardboard1

Also some printers can pick it up so you should have notes in any refilling kits to overcome that issue1
