By my reckoning I’ve overpaid tax, have a feeling might be hard to keep track of.
  • I'm pretty sure I have noted last year's interest received down to the penny (plus additional income, dividends etc), and would have underpaid so far using PAYE. Is there any benefit to waiting for a P800 before submitting a self-assessment? The only thing I can think of is obtaining a more accurate P60 in time for an upcoming mortgage renewal in November, but am I missing anything?
