NHS Fleet Solutions vat refund

Hi, NHS fleet solutions lost a case with the hmrc which means some NHS trusts are refunding the vat on the car purchase for salary sacrifice.
Has anyone received a refund and was it subject to pension and tax?

If they are refunding VAT wouldn't NHS fleet solutions have won the case? So refunding the VAT that was wrongly charged?

You are correct yes, the HMRC lost. My trust is refunding to me in lieu of NHS fleet solutions paying, presumably because my lease payments were higher than they should have been because of the VATGrumpy_chap said:
