LOVE ISLAND SERIES 11 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to the Love Island Series 11 programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via SMS, the Programme app (the “App”) and online via www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/winwebsites (“Website”) on Monday 3 June 2024.
• Prize Draw closes for entries via SMS, the App and online at 10.00am on Monday 5 August 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 8 August 2024.

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

 

• SMS text – you will have the choice between the two (2) following options: 

 

1. Standard entry: send a SMS text with the keyword WINNER or LOVE to 65554. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you one (1) entry into the Prize Draw (“Standard Entry”). Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. 

 

2. Bundle entry: send a SMS text with the keyword FIVE to 65554. The chargeable SMS text entry costs £5.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you five (5) entries (“Bundle Entry”). This will replace the Standard Entry and will only be available on your first entry within the Prize Draw period. Following the Bundle Entry, for each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a ‘buy one entry get one entry free’ offer.

 

If you choose the Standard Entry as described in paragraph 1 above, you may make up to fifteen (15) Standard Entries in total per phone number. If you choose the Bundle Entry, as described in paragraph 2 above, you may make up to thirteen (13) entries in total (including one (1) Bundle Entry and up to twelve (12) additional Standard Entries) per phone number.

Prize: 

 

There is one (1) prize of £50,000 and a Jet2holidays voucher.

 

(i) £50,000 cash 

 

This element of the prize consists of £50,000 (fifty-thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

(ii) A Jet2holidays voucher

 

This element of the prize consists of a Jet2holidays voucher for the winner to redeem against a single Jet2holiday, Vibe, Indulgent Escape, Villa, CityBreak holiday at the winner’s choice as available online at https://www.jet2holidays.com/vibe for the winner and their chosen companion(s) (“Chosen Holiday”), up to a £10,000 (“Total Travel Amount”). 

 

Subject to availability, the winner may select their chosen destination and trip duration, provided that the Chosen Holiday is within the Total Travel Amount. Subject to the Chosen Holiday, the winner may include the following elements available online at the time of the booking, including hotel accommodation, return flights and return transfers between the destination airport and hotel accommodation, transport in the destination country, activities, excursions and such other elements (excluding travel insurance and car hire), provided that all the elements are purchased directly from Jet2holidays. Any optional purchases or supplements are subject to Jet2holidays’ terms and conditions.

 

The Chosen Holiday must be within the Total Travel Amount and the winner and/or companion(s) will not be permitted to pay any additional fees above the Total Travel Amount. If the Chosen Holiday is worth less than the Total Travel Amount, the winner and their companion(s) (as applicable) will not be awarded credit, no cash exchange will be offered and the remaining amount will be lost. 

 

The Chosen Holiday must be taken up and concluded by 30 September 2026 (“Expiry Date”) and must be booked at least thirty (30) days prior to the requested travel dates.There are no blackout dates however dates and accommodation are subject to availability. Once the booking has been made, no changes will be permitted. If the Chosen Holiday is not concluded by the Expiry Date, the Chosen Holiday will be deemed forfeited.

 

The winner and the companion(s) must hold a current and valid passport and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements (including any health, medical or other screening requirements) to travel to their chosen destination. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the Chosen Holiday.

 

The winner must be the lead traveller and the companion(s) must travel on the same dates and itinerary as the winner. The companion(s) must be 18 years old or over at the date of departure. 

It is the responsibility of the winner to inform Jet2holidays of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion(s) when taking up the prize, and to adhere to (i) any applicable health and (ii) safety guidelines (including but not limited to the Government’s Covid-19 related guidelines from the relevant jurisdiction). 

 

The prize excludes spending money, travel insurance and car hire. The prize cannot be transferred, sold or redeemed for cash in whole or in part. 

 

Jet2holidays reserves the right to amend or cancel the flights or holiday for to administrative reasons without prior notice (which may include substituting the prize or any element of the prize with alternative dates, property, transfers and/or destinations at any time, to the equivalent prize value). Please note that Jet2holidays’ flight schedules are not guaranteed. 

 

The prize is subject to these Love Island Series 11 Prize Draw terms and conditions (“Prize Draw Terms”) and Jet2holidays' and Jet2.com's terms and conditions (together the "Jet2 Terms and Conditions") which can be found at http://www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditionsand http://www.jet2.com/terms respectively. In the event of any conflict between Jet2 Terms and Conditions and this Prize Draw Terms, this Prize Draw Terms will take precedence.
