Made to measure blinds

Ordered made to measure blinds on internet and they’re not of the quality we expected. The samples only showed you the things inside not the external mounts that fit to the glass. I’ve said we like to return but they say we can’t. Only order new ones at a discount. Where do we stand. I cited consumer rights and they said they don’t apply. Ta

More info needed - in what way did you cite consumer rights, i.e. which specific CRA provisions are you seeking to rely on (not as described, not per sample, tangible quality deficiency, etc), and in what way are they denying its applicability?dyslexicwinker said:Ordered made to measure blinds on internet and they’re not of the quality we expected. Ta. Said that they weren’t as described and are not how we envisaged them. There are no samples for them as they are the perfect fit style. It’s the externals frames that are flimsy and cheap. Not what we thought they were like. They’re also bent and don’t fit together so well but that is only discovered once fitted. They said that if order has arrived incorrect, the wrong size, colour, damaged or with a fault then they can investigate further.0

Are they actually "not as described"? i.e. does some feature of them differ from how they were advertised? e.g. do they describe the frames as being made of material X when they're made out of Y. Or even looser phrases like "Strong frames" when they're obviously not strong etc.dyslexicwinker said:Said that they weren’t as described and are not how we envisaged them.
Unfortunately , "Not how we envisaged them" and "not what we thought they were like" don't carry any weight - that would fall under "changed my mind" - which you cannot do as they were made to order.0 -
So it is a change of mind because they are not what you thought they would be.0
