Internal doors

I am finally getting around to having new internal doors fitted in my 1950s semi. I want a decent quality wooden door but not sure what I need to be looking form in terms of material and cost.

Some of the door frames are pretty battered so I would also like these replaced. Can anyone give me a rough idea of the cost of replacement including fitting of 8 doors.

Thanks.

We had a joiner come fit 6 internal doors (pic), his work comes generally from word of mouth. He charged me £1200 for fitting including handles. Nice doors, please with them. Hope this gives you an idea of price of just doors +fitting. Could have done with new casings but new the price but a lot higher.

We have these doors from Wickes - oak veneer Geneva I think. Cost £80 each, another £25 for handles and hinges, plus £80 each to fit.

    8 doors, £185 per door.
Finished each door with 2 coats of Osmo clear door oil.

they look amazing (imo!) in our 1960s house.

Thank you I was looking at those at Howdens (who someone recommended). Apologies for sounding stupid but are casings the thing the doors fit into :)

Thank you, it's a nice design. To be honest ANYTHING is going to look good compared to the ones I have at the moment. I am about to have my bathroom redone and needed a door there so biting the bullet and getting the guy to do all my doors while he's here. It's good to know an approximate cost.
