Hi there, apologies if this is in the wrong place! I’m in a bit of a flap!!!
I applied for a 6month interest free balance transfer card with Capital One. On application I provided the details of my Aqua (!) card to send the transfer to.
The Cap One card is showing that they have sent the money on 31/05/24 but it has not been received by Aqua ! It’s £500 which is a fortune for me.
I have raised disputes at both ends but no on can actually say what is happening.
has anyone else had a similar issue and how did you resolve it?
thanks in anticipation

It's 2 working days, you are being too impatient. It does vary by bank but the typical guidance is 3-5 working days for it to show at the receiving card. The only thing to do for now is double check you typed in the card number correctly.1

BTs usually take 1-3 working days to properly process in my experience, depending when you did the transfer on Friday, it's not a major worry for it not to be credited immediately, I'm surprised the team didn't tell you that, probably CoB tomorrow I would follow it up
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I know a lot of banking is instantaneous now but I've never found balance transfers to be. There always seems to be an extra couple of days for the money to appear on the account. Hopefully Aqua is just being slow so they can get a couple of days more interest?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards.
