Zzoomm retention deals - anyone managed to haggle? (and my experience to date)

Has anyone had any experience with Zzoomm retention deals after their initial 12-month contract ended? My experience so far is described below, but I wondered if anyone else has successfully negotiated with them.
I spoke with customer service today but was only offered the standard monthly rates. So I gave a month's notice to terminate my contract and requested that the retention team contact me. Customer service advised that they would make a note of this on the ticket.
I have asked them to match their new customer offer, i.e., re-contract for another 12 months with a £10 per month discount, resulting in 1 gig fibre for £29.95 per month.
I'll keep this thread updated, as I couldn't find any other discussions about experiences with Zzoomm retention deals.

I'm not surprised you've not seen anything about them on here, they have only got around 23,000 customers and look to be in trouble financially.

I've just started with Zzoomm 5 days ago at 500mps compared to 50mps for BT. The main problem was that their router boxes interfered with my TV reception, although I've solved that by moving the Freeview box further away from their equipment. They seem to be charging in advance. Providing they fully rebate any days not used if I leave that's not a problem, however it might be a crafty way of charging for the equipment. The speeds so far have been consistent at 550mps which is way above any other provider in the area.0
