Franchise Refusing Refund

In April I paid for 10 sessions with Laser Clinic and received one. The clinic I went closed it's doors with no warning and six weeks ago Laser Clinic contacted me to say they would move me to a different Clinic. This was after my appointment was cancelled with no warning!
I have asked for a refund for the nine sessions I've paid for but they've refused because they said I gave money to the franchise which is not refundable. However seven weeks after the closure of the first Clinic they still haven't given me access to a different Clinic without me paying again.
What are my rights here? I'm continuing to contact Laser Clinic but they have stopped replying entirely. Wondering if it's a large scam company and if this has happened to others? I'm currently over £300 out of pocket!

Who exactly have you paid, and how did you pay?0

What paperwork, if any, do you have?
If you paid by credit/debit card then you can potentially do a chargeback
Do you know the name of the entity that had the franchise? Have you checked what's legally happened to them? Are they in administration?0 -
I'll check my paperwork to see who I paid exactly and look to do a charge back as I paid on card. My understanding is that they just closed and aren't in administration.
Thank you!0
