Santander Edge Up account. 2 cashbacks but no choice where they come from.

    I'll see what happens next month. I still think they are using the lowest option of my £24 Water bill when any of the others would pay more.

    The 123 account paid 3% on Water Bills (and didn't pay 3% on any other types of bills). 2% was paid on gas/electricity and 1% on council tax and phone/broadband/TV subscriptions. 

    So they have, presumably, paid you 3% on your water bill because the Direct Debit left your account while it was still a 123 account. Next month it will pay you 1%, the same as the other bills. 

    I think the online questionaire calculates whether you're better off by including the other Edge/Edge up benefits - which are credit interest (Edge Up) or access to the 7% Savings Account (Edge), and 1% cashback on debit card payments for petrol, public transport and supermarket shopping.
