Morning all.
Nan - Happy Birthday.
I have been eating lots of naughty stuff - weighed myself - first time for 8 weeks - I had only put on 1lb.
Wearing my new fit bit watch in bed - says I am not getting good sleep.
More decluttering to do today.

As I half expected lunch is cancelled again!  TAFF she's not so much as pandering to him as saving herself a lot of hassle after she has left him on his own. Irrational thoughts when he is alone lead him to daft ideas such as selling the house and renting somewhere instead and she is faced with cancelling a viewing appointment and the estate agent's visit to value the house!  Or selling their car and buying a banged up old runaround instead! I could give many more examples. I don't envy her.

So the day is my own and I am having second thoughts about a bus ride out as it feels chilly and damp. I might have a day of sloth instead. Decisions decisions! xx

Morning all thanks for the birthday wishes. Sadly we have rain after days of sunshine 😟
Yesterday was spent sorting out clothes and doing some ironing, then last night Mr Fix It wasn't well so we both had a disturbed night. 
Today we had a family funeral to go to at lunchtime but I've made the decision that Mr Fix It is not well enough so I'll have to put all the funeral clothes back in the wardrobe now, oh well that can't be helped. Later DD and family will arrive after school for a glass of bubbly and some cake, hopefully Mr Fix It will have picked up a bit by then 🤞

TA ahhhh...you're right there...but I would make him an appointment and take him there by his short and curlies if he made me live my life in fear and stress...then again, is there any chance she can bring him with you and park him somewhere for lunch?

Hello everyone
Happy birthday Nan - hope you enjoyed your cake.
I got absolutely soaked today walking down to work. I didn't have a coat, just a thin fleece and the heavens opened - it's a country road with nowhere to shelter so I had no option but to carry on walking. The children laughed when they saw me. I managed to borrow some spare clothes - they didn't fit but at least I was dry.
I put one of the radiators on and got my trousers dry enough to wear before I picked little one up from school. Of course she found it hilarious too. Lesson learned - always have a brolly in my bag.
When DD was bringing me back home little one announced ' I've changed my mind mummy'. DD asked what about. 'Well I don't think I want to be a doctor now it takes a long time to learn it all.' 'I'm going to be a vet instead.' DD pointed out it takes a long time to train to be a vet too.....'oh well I'll just have to be a doctor then, I already know quite a lot don't I'   She maybes doesn't have to decide quite yet!
